Professional Experience Austin Logic, Inc. Austin, TX June 1998 - Present Data Warehouse Consultant - As an independent Software Consultant, I use several tools to implement data warehouses, operational datastores, and application interfaces using SAP/R3, ETI Extract, Oracle Financials and PeopleSoft. I consult through all of the phases for project development from resource planning and phased designs to implementation and integration testing. I travel at 100% usually securing long term assignments. Evolutionary Technologies International Austin, TX Jan 1996 - June 1998 Customer Consultant - E.T.I is a conversion software tool for generating code in a variety of languages.and data access systems. As a consultant, I travel to client sites deploying the software and developing solutions and conversion design for data warehousing, system migrations and software interfaces. I also am a library developer, writing the Data System Libraries to access and generate code in C and COBOL using a proprietary template and grammar language within the tool. I travel at 90% and often act as project manager for many of the client projects and conversions. I.B.M Austin, TX Nov 1994 - Dec 1995 TCP/IP software consultant - As a contract employee, I worked with the AIX kernel team to write the ICS server (WWW server) for AIX and OS/2. During my 10 month contract, our software competed against the Netscape Commerce server head to head and our software became a standard feature of all AIX system servers. I wrote the web integration code into the TCP/IP layers of AIX UNIX and the remote management tools using C, C++ and CGI. I also helped write a gateway from the web into DB/2 and Oracle servers. M.C.I Telecommunications Austin, TX Feb 1990 - Nov 1994 Systems Analyst - My last project at MCI was to build a Lead Management System using Sybase system 10 with dblib and ctlib calls running on VMS/VAX servers. I was the DBA and lead analyst on writing C based asynchronous system timer code and stored procedures with triggers to process call data. This system was used to integrate all MCI caller data with NOPS and NLGS for sending and routing caller voice and record data to the BOCS for order processing and customer service. I also helped implement one of the first intranets within MCI for Call information for reporting to different groups internal to MCI. Safelite Auto Glass Wichita, KS Aug 1987 - Jan 1990 Systems Programmer - As a maintenance programmer, I maintained the CARMS accounting software on IBM system 36 machines using COBOL and later on AS/400s. I also wrote an interface to automatically download daily transaction data from the mainframes into a PC database, FOXPRO and into LOTUS 123 macros for reporting and analysis on IBM 386 PCs.
